on startup the computer will make a long single tone beeping noise. once it stars up it will make the beep noise again when windows pop up and after to many keystrokes. (ex. when you hold the down or the enter button) i belive that the fact that my computer has no audio may stem from this problem or be the cause. i've tried everything and i need a little help now. thanks

The name of the Motherboard / BIOS would help as they each have different codes

High frequency beeps while running. Overheated CPU Check the CPU fan for proper operation. Check the case for proper air flow.
