xp wont load.

my laptop wont load. My sister installed an adsl modem and its software along with the dialup i was using. Think maybe a conflict. But i've tried all options in F8 mode and the windows xp progress bar comes up, then a compaq screen and then a blue screen with a windows logo on it (not BSod) but it wont go any further. It also wont boot the xp cd even though its configured properly in bios. could someone help?

Try removing the adsl modem your sister installed first, then give it a try.
