Alcan.d worm problem - Hijack file here [CLOSED]

Hi, I am brand new to this stuff - I have 2 virus scanners, Norton and Vet, as well as Adaware 1.05, Spybot and Scan Spyware. It appears that I inherited the Alcan.D worm from a download - it has now embedded itself into my C drive and I cant get rid of it. I cannot update Vet, Adaware or anything, I located the original file that was infected and deleted it. I am now experiencing worsening stability problems. I am running Windows XP SP2 and updated it just yesterday. I have a Hijack file for someone to look at. Can someone pleaseeeeeeee help.

Hi greylensman, welcome to GeeksToGo

There is nothing showing on that log, it's looking clean.

Let's try running an MWavScan... It will produce a log in the lower window that has the bad list and you will need to use Ctrl-C to copy it and then paste it here for review.... If the list is extremely long, you can just paste the lines that begin with the word "File" since those are the ones we need to be most concerned about... just so you know, it will be a long scan taking several hours..download it here:

It will suggest that you buy the product to fix what it finds, but that is not necessary... Just post the bad part of the scan and we will deal with it...
