Can someone please help me?

Everytime i try to open anything (file,software,etc.) , it fails and this pop ups.


Program Error

(program).exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.
You will need to restart the program.

An error log has been created.



I can't open anything now. My com is as good as useless.

do this first:

start > run, type
eventvwr.msc
<enter>

Look under systems and applications for items with red Xs that happened at the SAME time as your problem...list them here.

then do this:

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
