Hello again,

My question is what does the last instructions/switch do saying " NoExecute=OptIn "

in the final row of my boot.ini file. Is there any where I can read about this?

"....multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn........"

Best regards,

Peter

/NOEXECUTE=OPTIN Enables DEP for core system images and those specified in the DEP configuration dialog.
