ABI had taken over computer. Followed all general guides in " before posting to malware". Computer seems much better - no abi aurora stuff.

Could you do something before we get started please,

Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it hjt.
Move HJT into this new folder, HJT will create back ups if needed if there in a temp folder good chance we would not be able to retreive them if need,

Post back a fresh log after you have moved it into a new folder please

I am in and out today so will be getting back sporadically. Also, very new at this.

• Go Here download and install Cleanup!

Then clicked on DSRX. Then I saved to that folder. There is no gear. Something about winace expired.??

Download the following program, For keeping crap off your system to begin with
Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests. Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox. Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Download Spyware Blaster

Keep AD-Aware. and Spybot 1.3 handy, Check them for updates prior to running and run them weekly
Same with your Anti Virus,

For an added check run an online virus scan, you can use one of the 2 below,
TrendMicro's HouseCall
ActiveScan

Be sure and give the Temp folders a cleaning out now and then as well, Make sure after you clean your Temp files to empty out your Recycle bin as well.
For ease use the following program
Download and install Cleanup
Run "Cleanup" and when it has finished, Reboot

Remeber to Check Windows for updates

I have SpyBot, SpareBlaster, and AD-Aware and will take your advice and run weekly with one of the online virus scan.

Tried your way to make restore point. I have XP not Millenium. When I disabled douleclicked OK it gave me a message about deleting previous restore points. I stopped.

It is finding stuff in system restore,

What you need to do is disable then enable system restore this will flush them,
Just be sure and create a new restore point name it something you will rember
