:tazz: Windows 98 was working fine then all of a sudden you were not able to get into certain programs and the screen is black but with your windows icons. It says that Tempse.dll has a problem. I have AVG and it detected it thougfh it says that that file is healed every time I CONNECT TO INTERNET it sees that trojan but it heals it. I disconected from network and installed the Spyboot and also Adware SE and it took out many things. I tried installing the Hijack program off this site but it says that the MSVBVM60.DLL CANNOT BE FOUND. Do not know what to do to repair and get going again. I would appreciate some advise on solving this..

Howdy and welcome to G2G:

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
