Ok so, i have Lavasoft Ad-Aware and when i scan my computer, it finds 3 new critical errors. The scan completes and I look at the file, its a trojan called Win32.Trojan.Agent.cs with a total of 3 objects. I check on the delete box, click next and hit ok for remove. the file appears to get removed, but when i re-scan using the same program, the trojan reappears.....deleting again and again, tried to quarantine it first then delete...doesnt work...i have other programs such as Spy Doctor, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, Spybot - Search & Destroy, and Norton Anti-Virus Corporate Edition. All of them cant seem to find that one trojan. Please help with removing this file by some other means. Thank You.

Download Process Explorer at http://www.sysintern...s/procexpnt.zip.

Reboot into Safe Mode:

Unzip Process Explorer and double click on procexp.exe

In the top section of the Process Explorer screen double click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen. Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you see this screen click on each instance of asimg.dll once and then click the kill button.

After you have killed all of the asimg.dll's under winlogon click ok.

Next double click on explorer.exe and again click once on each instance of asimg.dll then click the kill button. Once you have done that click ok again.

Run a scan in HijackThis. Make SURE that ALL your browsers are closed now. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any):

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

Make sure to close any open browsers. Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:

WildTangent - This is an online gaming package that is installed by a number of third party applications and even OEMs, ISPs and AIM. The games aspect of this is really rather cool. The being installed without you asking for it isn't cool at all. They collect information about you and your usage. We recommend uninstalling it.

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any):

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WildTangent CDA] "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\GameDrvr.exe" /startup "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0500.dll"

Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist:

C:\Program Files\WildTangent\

Restart. No need for a new log.

Your log is clean.
