Welcome james <_< ,

I'm not sure I completely understand your problems? I'm guessing you have a scanner that doesn't work, a modem that doesn't fax, and a printer problem?

Have you recently changed anything on your computer? You say it worked about two weeks ago. WindowsXP has a feature called System Restore that can return your computer to an earlier state. Go Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Restore. Select "Restore my computer to an earlier time". A calendar will appear, choose a date at least two weeks ago. If that doesn't work, you can try an earlier date, or undo the restore.

If System Restore doesn't work, reinstall the latest drivers and software from the manufacturer's website for each peripheral. First uninstall any software using the add/remove icon in the control panel. Then navigate to each website and find the latest drivers and/or software for each. Restart your computer when instructed to do so.
