I have 2 hard drives installed now
Disk Drive C IBM-DTTA-351680 (15 GB, 5400 RPM, Ultra-ATA/33)
Disk Drive D Maxtor 91531U3 (14 GB, 5400 RPM, Ultra-ATA/66)
Optical Drive CD-R/RW CW099D CD-R/RW (52x/24x/52x CD-RW)
Optical Drive MATSHITA DVD-ROM SR-8583 (5x/32x DVD-ROM)
I just got a WD1200JB 7200 and would like to install it as the master drive, Making the C & D drives E & F is this possible? or do i have to remove my C drive?
Thanks :tazz:

install the third drive as normal..then right click on my computer > manage > disk management > then click on each partition (pretty much anything "inside" the drive > change drive letter...you'll probably have to change c to e first then assign the new one to c

I am a novice. There is no cable to attatch the hard drive to. Can i get a cable with 3 female connedtors so that all three harddrivs are on the same cable? Do i have to get a new controler board?
Thanks

um...no you can't get one with three connectors....if you only have one optical drive you can put this new drive on the free one there...or you can get an external enclosure for the drive...which kind of would make more sense...also.....why do you want this one to be c:?

I thought that the system had to be on C. I do have an empty slot inside.
