i have windows me. i have verizon dsl and my ethernet card is linksys. the problem i am having is a blue screen error during command & conquer tiberian sun. the exact error appears as following

An exception 0e has occurred at 0028:c00197e9 in VxD NDIS(01) + 00001f65. This was called from 0028:c001d3b4 in Vxd NDIS(01) + 00005b30. It may be possible to continue normally.

after iget this error my internet connection shuts down and i must reboot my computer. I have updated the linksys ethernet drivers.

Welcome to GTG.

Try this:

In the control panel, go in network and remove ALL the devices including you network card.

Reboot then go back in network and re-install the network card, the client and the TCI/IP protocol.

i removed all newwork drivers and still no luck.

Right click on My Computer->Properties->Device Manager. Do you see any suspicious looking entries (like exclamation marks and yellow markings)? If so, remove that device and restart. Reinstall the drivers for that device.

i figured out the problem. Was my dsl router, i switched to another modem and it works fine now. Guess the problem was due to some port forwarding. Appreciate the help anyways.
