would love some help with this ... popups all over the place. I have tried Adaware and Spybot, both of which remove a bunch of things only for them to pop back again on reboot. NAV says it is unable to uninstall half of the things it finds.

Hi suzeegb, welcome to GeeksToGo

A malicious .DLL file is disrupting the LSP chain on your computer. We need to get rid of it.
  • Please download LSPFix from here.
  • Run the LSPFix.exe that you have just finished downloading.
  • Check the I know what I'm doing box.
  • In the Keep box you should see one or more instances of calsp.dll.
  • Select every instance of calsp.dll and move each one to the Remove box by clicking the >> button.
  • When you are done click Finish>>.
Then please post a new log, but turn off Word Wrap in Notepad under the Format tab, that is causing blank lines in the log.

Regards,

Armodeluxe
