Computer has a tendency to freeze certain open programs and it runs slowly. In addition, Norton Anti-virus displays "unable to load" error messages upon Windows start-up. I have followed all of your instructions. We began receiving the error messages after activating Windows recovery settings that were used prior to the installation of "The Complete Security Software" to our computer. After installing the software, our banking website would not work properly so we were told to run a recovery period before the program was installed. Is there anything that you would advise that we do to resolve this issue with the error messages? Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Unzip it to the desktop and double-click on it. If you get any kind of warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run. When the scan is finished, a message will pop up and a logfile will have been created on the desktop. Please post the entire contents of this logfile for me to see.

I'm afraid you will have to uninstall Norton, before we can make an attempt to get your computer back on it's feet.

If you plan to keep on using it, you can re-install it immediately again.

If you don't succeed in uninstalling it through Add/Remove Software let me know which version you have exactly.

Or, at least as little as possible.
Reboot into safe mode and then re-install Norton.
