Slow computer, missing desktop files/icons

Hi all,

While visiting some site 2 days ago, my NAV picked up some files that were Downloader.Trojan and Trojan.ByteVerify

After quarantined them, I deleted the files.

Today, when I turned on my computer, it was REALLY slow. When I tried to download an attachment (txt file) from my yahoo account onto my desktop, all my files icons are gone, including My computer, my document, and several others.

I found this site, followed the instructions (CleanUp, Ad-aware, CWShredder, etc etc) and it is still VERY slow, and the files are still not appearing.

Of interest, I tried to download that txt file again, but it complained that file already exists.
