i know im connected to the internet but wireless connection says im connected to the internet my p2p programs says im connected and they connect its just my internet explorer and my opera browsers. i can't go to any site because it goes to the page that says im not connected. pleasse someone help?

can you ping a public IP like 4.2.2.1? if yes, can you ping yahoo.com? this step by step troubleshootiing may help,
