Hey everyone, just want to say a huge thankyou as I found a solution to a major error on my laptop from this site earlier today and managed to salvage my precious harddrive.
So, to half-life; sometimes during play, after the game makes a loading transition from one area to another, a message appears onscreen saying 'A.I. Disabled' and all NPCs stop functioning. Although this has actually proven helpful at times of getting past enemies without having to do a thing, it really isnt helpful when the A.I. is needed to progress in the game (like in Ravensholme with that crazy disciple guy).
I haven't played around with any mods for HL2 so I don't think this error is caused by myself; anyone experienced it as well or know how to go about fixing it?
