My parents are on dial up and their internet page keeps defaulting to res://shdocsv.dll/blank.htm. On the desktop there is an ad that says their computer might be infected with spyware or adware and to click "here to remove and I can't get this off. What can I do? Thanks

It's a browser hijack. Please follow all the steps here;

You will definately need to follow Step 5 if the preparation scans doesn't get the PC clean.. Hope this helps. ;)

Hi Lisa! I have split your topic, and moved the Malware log to the Malware forum. Someone will be able to help you from there! :tazz:
