Good day - my PC is infected with winfixer 2005 - i tried to clear this away using the suggestions in other posts and got as far as running l2mfix. when i booted back up, l2mfix evidently took over since there are no icons on my desk top....but that has been over 24 hours ago and still nothing has returned! every so often i get a warning message from ewido saying there's a threat, which i respond to, but that's the only response i am getting. so....how do i cancel this l2mfix and start over??? HELP PLEASE!

(i am typing from someone else's PC)

thank you!

Additional info: if it helps
i rebooted in safe mode, ran cwshredder, adaware, spybot, deleted indicated items, then rebooted in regular mode. DOS window popped up with message 'C:\windows\system32 killing explorer and rundll ' , and winfixer 2005 download prompt came up. i killed that pop up. now i'm back to no icons again. nothing. is this normal for l2mfix? HELP!! please.
