Blue screen restart when inserting CD

I have win xp pro on a p4 3.06 intel machine. I have run the full malware series of test and my pc is clean.

On both of my desktops, whenever I insert a CD in to the DVD rom drive, my pc crashes. I get a blue screen with this error "page_fault_in_non-paged_area" and it reboots.

I have turned off auto-start, etc. but still this happens. Any ideas? Thanks.
