Trouble during driver install

When i try to install driver to my graphic card the error :"the NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. setup will now exit" appear.

Help ? :tazz:

I have NVIDIA geforce FX go5700. intel pentium 4. and windows xp. I dont recall the cmd code i have to write to get my spec.. Do you know?
And also, i have a laptop. And, store bought. Its a toshiba.

Where did you get the driver you're trying to install.

Most laptops manufactures (if not all), write their own video drivers. This means you cannot just install drivers from the Nvidia site. If this is what you're trying to do, then the driver will fail.

Go to toshiba and use the driver made specifically for your laptop and it should work.

I have a toshiba satellite i think.. But i tried to find my comp there before. But just cant find it.

HERE is the driver for your card from Toshiba.. You will have to unzip it before you can install it..

P20 is not on the Toshiba list for downloads. Are there any other identifying marks about the model number?

It should work.. It is the latest driver file for that system and OS..

There is one about 6 months older that you could try if that one doesn't work!!

Makai: Toshiba does a very good job of hiding them.. You actually have to go to the Toshiba UK site to find that model.. The driver is available for all countires from there..
