I've followed the steps outlined in several posts on removing the winfix popup. Prior to any fixes, I saved an image file of my computer. It seems to have worked!!! No more popups. Does my hijackthis log appear to be clean? If things look OK, please ignore my earlier post from this morning.

Thanks for reviewing the logfile. It appears I now have another problem. The computer is set up for multiple users. I have admin rights on my profile and this is where I performed the fix. Now when I log into the other user accounts winfix still pops up. do I need follow the same steps in each user account?

When I logged onto the other users, the winfixer shortcut and the download box would pop up as it originally did. However the program did not jump to all the popups as before. I deleted the same file as previously using hijackthis and the shortcut and download box dissappeared. Below is the hijack log for the first user, and i'll make a new post with the second user
