<_< I've been having this problem for awhile and have gotten conflicting solves for it. Booting up is slow. Upon logging in to my home computer it takes forever to start. In the task manager it seems that ccApp is hogging most of the cpu. Norton doesnt have a fix becuase they say they can recreate the problem. I've run Spyware, Adware, Spybot and Spydoctor. Also used PC Mighty Max and RegClean and rescanned with Norton with little improvement. Actually everything seems to run slow (IE) even when just switching to another window. Here is my HJT log if someone with more expertise than I could take a look at it. Thanks.

Having spent the last week trying to deal with ccApp problems I know how you feel.

I do remember coming across a similar problem where the cause was put down to inadequate CPU or memory. Is your hardware config suitable ? Also are you running NAV 2005 or an older version. I upgraded to 2005 and my problem has gone away (I hope). A bit annoyed that Symantec told me to upgrade the app even though I still had 4 months of my 2004 liveUpdate subscription left to run.

Not sure if any of the above helps. ccApp seems to be a bit of a black art <_<
