I have an IBM thinkpad and have recently been experiencing a lot of trouble with it. Initally the battery would never charge up and it has been plugged into an oulet for about a year now- in order to fix that it was replaced and still does not work. While still dealing with that issue the computer suddently wouldnt turn on and went on to give me errors and a dead battery. I was able to get the computer to turn on ( i dont quite know how) but nothing is working right. The internet will not work and if opening essentially anything a pop up states something to the effect of ActiveX and other Plug-ins required to view all components, and the only way i can see all the things in my computer and subsequent folder is to click that. anyone know what could possibly be going on?
