Can't Install Windows Media Player

I download the new WMP 10 and try to install it, but it says it doesn't pass the Windows logo testing or something and stops. I've been trying different things and it's getting really frustrating. I have a Dell running XP, so if anyone knows how I can fix this that'd be awesome. Thanks
