It seem that I downloadeds active X controls and have come up with several hard to remove spywarde programs. I receive microsoft spyware notices and run the remove programs but after rebooting they return and I have to remove them each time. Can someone help me with this problem?

Please go here and follow the directions. The scans will remove 70% of all spyware problems. If after you run the scans and you still have an issue, please move onto step 5, and post a HiJackThis log in this topic, which has been moved to the Malware forum for you.
