Heya,

I posted here once before with a problem I had and I've now gotten a few other thing's going wrong with my computer. I'll explain them and submit my HiJackThis log for some help (hopefully). Ok first of all I've noticed a few things have happened on my computer since I downloaded MSN Plus! today, including my favourites getting refreshed (so they are now in order) aswell as getting pop-up's and my homepage being changed (which I have changed back). The second problem which I've had on my computer for a while now is a Runner Error pop-up that comes up everytime I restart/sign-on to my computer. The full thing says 'Runner Error' at the top followed by the message 'Invalid BackWeb application id "7288971"'. As I said it comes up when I turn on my computer and makes it so I cannot start Internet Explorer for around 7 minutes. I've left because I've heard it's suppose to be harmless but I think it's best if I get it checked out and make sure (maybe get it removed). So yeah, that's whats been happening.. Here the HiJackThis log:

Please disable Spyware Doctor

I don't even know where I would find it to disable it. I don't use it and can see it anywhere. I've used the Start > Find > Files or Folders and it won't show up nor is it on Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

Nice job your log is clean !
How is it running ?
Please use the following suggestion to help prevent reinfection

Download the following program, For keeping crap off your system to begin with
Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests. Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox. Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Download Spyware Blaster

Keep AD-Aware. and Spybot 1.3 handy, Check them for updates prior to running and run them weekly
Same with your Anti Virus,

For an added check run an online virus scan, you can use one of the 2 below,
TrendMicro's HouseCall
ActiveScan

Be sure and give the Temp folders a cleaning out now and then as well, Make sure after you clean your Temp files to empty out your Recycle bin as well.
For ease use the following program
Download and install Cleanup
Run "Cleanup" and when it has finished, Reboot

Remeber to Check Windows for updates

Everything seems to be running fine. The only other thing was this..

Posted Image

Which pops-up everytime I restart my computer or what not. I'm not that bothered by it aslong as it's not some virus, but it can be a little inconvient as you have to wait 5-10 before you can use Internet Explorer each time the computer is restarted. Anways if you say it's fine I'll leave it be and download some of those recommended programs. Thank you for the help.

OK lets see if we can find something,

Please click this link to download Silent Runners.
* Save it to the desktop.
* Run Silent Runner's by doubleclicking the "Silent Runners" icon on your desktop.
* You will see a text file appear on the desktop - it's not done yet, just let it run (it won't appear to be doing anything!)
* Once you receive the prompt "All Done!", double-click on the new text file on the desktop and copy that entire log and paste it here.

*NOTE* If you receive any warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.

Also -
  • Start HijackThis
  • Click on the Config button
  • Click on the Misc Tools button
  • Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
  • You can click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad into this topic please,
