Hey.. I'm new to these forums.. I've been looking around at some of the other treads seeing if i could find a solution.. I figured it would be better if I just posted my own Hijackthis log.

this yieldmanager is really annoying.. Here is my HijackThis log.

Rerun HJT,and put a checkmark beside these :-

Then boot up in SAFE MODE

Then navigate to and delete these files\folders in BOLD

C:\Program Files\urra<----folder
C:\WINDOWS\system32\?vchost.exe DO NOT touch svchost.exe. only the one with the question mark, (if there)


then reboot and post a fresh Hijackthis log.

thanks for helping out bricat.. sorry it took so long to get back to you..

I did as you said. The file ?vchost in the sytem32 folder wasn't there.. I did delete the urra folder.

It also appears that O23 - Service: X10 Device Network Service (x10nets) - Unknown owner - C:\PROGRA~1\ATIMUL~1\RemCtrl\x10nets.exe (file missing) keeps returning everytime i restarted my computer.

don't worry about the X10 Device Network Service,


Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite from
here. Install it and
update the program with the latest definitions. Setup the program
following the instructions here and then close it without running a scan.

Reboot into Safe Mode

Then please run Ewido security suite, and perform a full system scan.
Remove anything found,

Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report

* Click Save report
* Save the report to your desktop.


then reboot normally, and post a new HJT log, and the scan log from Ewido.

Click Start > Run > type services.msc, then click OK
Scroll down and right click on 'X10 Device Network Service'
Select 'Properties' and set the "Service Status" option to "Stop"
Set "Startup type" to "Disabled", click Apply, then OK.


that looks clean now.:tazz:

DISABLE SYSTEM RESTORE run your anti virus, when you get the all clear
restart your system restore.(same page).then create a new restore point :-

click START\ALL PROGRAMS\ACCESSORIES\SYSTEM TOOLS\SYSTEM RESTORE. click on "create new restore point"
click on NEXT and follow the prompts.

this is to ensure that if you have to do a system restore in the future that you don't get all the nasties reinstalled again.

Then

Go to TOOLS\INTERNET OPTIONS. and delete all TEMP INTERNET FILES

Download CCLEANER


then run the scan under the windows tab.


then DEFRAG your C:\ drive.

to help speed up your system.

then let us know how the computer is running.
