I am trying to clean tons of spyware/Malware off of my Brother's Win XP computer but there are still some entries in the registry that need to be removed manually and are not recognized by the standard spyware removal softwares and after rebooting malware and browser hijacks return.
History:
1. Norton diagnosed desktop.hijacker
2. Aurora popups presend
3. CoolSearch Present
4. PC Spyguard Present
5. Brower hijacked to local temp folder in C
6. Files in localsettings temp folder (Access Denied Errors)

Measures:
Updated latest Norton Definitions, Ewildo, CWshreader, Adaware, SpybotS&D, Cleaner, Smitrem.

Ran all of the above in safe mode. Desktop.hijacker found and removed. Many other Malware and spyware removed, Many register entries found and removed but I am not sure what all hijack this entires to check to fix. Malware keeps coming back after each reboot and entries continue to be added to the hosts file.
