My motherboard is from ECS Elite group model L7VMM2(1.0A). Radeon 9600xt 256MB AGP worked so this should too.

Well it will work but it wouldnt be advisable if it is only agp4x as the card would be bottlenecked and not perform the way it should.
Get cpu-z it will tell you what your slot is capable of.

Yep, my max is 4x.But will i still be able to use the x800pro to play games like battlefield 2?And is there any way to make it better then 4x agp?The card says its supports 4x agp.

Yeah, you could install the x800 pro in that motherboard but it would only run at 4X and kinda defeats the whole purpose. It would run slower than the card is capable of. I wouldnt spend the money on an x800 pro and only get to use it on agp 4X. Bf 2 wouldnt be able to run as great also and the gameplay will be choppy.

You would be better off with the 9800 pro because its cheaper.

Or you could always upgrade your motherboard

Maybe not half as good but the decrease would be fairly significant. Check out a new motherboard they arent all that expensive and the older ones that you would have to get to match the cpu are fairly cheap.
