I have the winfixer pop up problem. Unfortunately, I have no idea on how to get rid of it. I've looked over the other post regarding this, but I'm a bit confused on the steps.

I was wondering if there was someone who could help me out, step by step.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. Yes, help is available here. First, you will need to work your way through the malware removal guide, see the link at the top of this forum where it says "Do you suspect a malware (Spyware, Virus, Trojan) infection? Please Start Here. " This enables folks to solve most problems on their own. If you still have trouble after that, post a hijack this log in the malware forum at
