Helping a lady clean her system. Found entries for pokapoka63 in her registry. Spyferret picks up the other 2. Have run various spyware checkers and none of the others pick this up.

When she goes out on internet via aol shortly thereafter Internet Explorer starts up on its own and sends her to various sites. Also downloads dozens of cookies within a short period of time that adaware and spybot call spyware and malware.

Could these items in the topic above be causing any of these issues? If so, how can I get rid of them?

Appreciate any suggestions.

this will help you clean up to 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THIS thread.
