Easy Aurora/Nail Manual Solution

Although we appreciate the help, please do not post advice in the Malware Section of our forum.

This is how I cleaned Aurora/Nail from a system at work.


Reboot.

Now you will boot normally, getting an error that NAIL.EXE is invalid. Now run your favorite spyware removaL tool to clean up the rest.

Viola, NAIL is gone!

I guess the Geeks can look this over and post it if they like. :tazz:

Please do not post Advice in the Malware Forum. You see like a bright individual, please Join GeekU, we could always use another helper in the fight against Malware.

This might get rid of nail, it may not. Aurora is often bundle with a lot more than just Nail.exe. Also 9/10 times it will also have the Epolvy Trojan. Which reinstalls nail.exe. soon as you reboot.
