Last night, 8/13/05, when shuting down my PC there were new MS Security updates to install, which I did. This morning turn on PC and got blue screen, (first ever) that stated may be driver conflict ect., didn't write down everything. Anyhow restarted PC and Windows directed PC to their site which stated a confict with Symantec's Norton Anti Virus and that they were notified.

Then I open Outlook Express. One of the messages had a Windows file attached, which I opened. Tried to print that file. It would not print and Title bar was flashing from blue to brown continuously and program was locked. Had to use Task Manager to close MS Word.

I can print exiting files I have in Word. This has to have been caused by the lasted MS Security updates as eveything worked before.

Has someone else experienced this problem? Don't want to wish this on anyone else. When you start your PC and it dosen't work I get a sick feeling as every thing is on my PC.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks,
JP
