Hi

Sorry, i am new to this forum, but it was recommended to me. Im not to computer savvy, so i might seem dumb. My appologies. Anyways:

I think I have a virus, but i ran Norton virus scan and got rid of all the threats and what not. My laptop is still acting VERY slow, sometimes the screen goes extremely dark and its hard to see until i do a system restore. Also, whenever I restart it, it acts like the first time i turned it on, asking me to take a tour of windows XP

any suggestions?

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log to the malware forums

If it is malware related, any fixes you try before removing the malware are unlikely to work
