Welcome to the Geeks To Go forum.:tazz:

Step 1

Configure Windows to Show all hidden files & folders and ensure you're familiar with rebooting into Safe Mode.

Download SmitRem.zip and save the file to your desktop.
Right click on the file and extract it to it's own folder on the desktop.

If you have not already installed Ad-Aware SE 1.06, follow the download and setup instructions here.
Otherwise, check for updates and download any new reference files before closing the program. We'll use it in Safe Mode later.

Download and install About Buster 5.0 following the instructions here.
Update the program with the latest definitions and install the extra protection:
-- Install Firefox for surfing so that Internet Explorer can be kept closed until you're clean.
-- Install Spywareblaster to prevent future stealth installations of malware.
Do NOT scan with About Buster yet.

Step 2

Next, please reboot your computer in SAFE MODE <<< Very Important !!

Run HJT again and checkmark the boxes next to the following:-

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\system\cwxyx.dll/sp.html#69589
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\system\cwxyx.dll/sp.html#69589
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = res://C:\WINDOWS\system\cwxyx.dll/sp.html#69589
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\system\cwxyx.dll/sp.html#69589
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\system\cwxyx.dll/sp.html#69589
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = res://C:\WINDOWS\system\cwxyx.dll/sp.html#69589
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = res://C:\WINDOWS\system\cwxyx.dll/sp.html#69589
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: Class - {0B910E65-4CD0-713C-7AEC-596165F29413} - C:\WINDOWS\IEHA.DLL
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LoadQM] loadqm.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ADDIR.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ADDIR.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [intell32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\intell32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [IPXY32.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IPXY32.EXE /s
O21 - SSODL: Web Event Logger - {7CFBACFF-EE01-1231-ABDD-416592E5D639} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Elkieiea.dll

Close ALL OPEN WINDOWS/BROWSERS and click Fix Checked

Step 3

Start About Buster
With ALL windows closed - VERY important!
Click on 'Begin Removal' to start the scan.
When the scan has finished let it scan again.
A log of the scan will appear in the folder.
Exit About Buster.

Step 4

Open the SmitRem folder and double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.

Step 5

Then navigate to and delete these files\folders in BOLD

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\INTELL32.EXE << This file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ADDIR.EXE << This file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IPXY32.EXE << This file

Step 6

Open Ad-aware and do a full system scan. Remove all it finds.

Warning: While the scan is in progress, do NOT open any folders or the Windows Control Panel !!

Step 7

Then boot up normally

Next go to your Control Panel and click Display | Desktop | Customise Desktop | Website | Uncheck "Security Info" if present.

Step 8

Download,
CWSInstall.exe
Click Fix, don't just scan. Let it fix everything it asks about.

then reboot and post a fresh HJT log.

Rerun HJT,and put a checkmark beside these :-

O2 - BHO: Class - {0D86DF77-8EB8-9B58-155C-1F521FA8E561} - C:\WINDOWS\IEHA.DLL (file missing)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [intell32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\intell32.exe

now close all windows and browsers and click FIX CHECKED

you need to show hidden files :-

* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

Then boot up in SAFE MODE

Then navigate to and delete these files\folders in BOLD

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\intell32.exe

then reboot normally.

The rest is muchhhh better...yay!!!!
And on Step 2, theres no C:/Windows/ System....

did you run the about buster scan before going into HJT again.?

also :-

please download and install AVG anti-virus, check for updates and run a full scan. and
SYGATE FIREWALL. both of these are free and both are easy to set up.

then reboot and post a fresh Hijackthis log.

Could you please download DelDomains.zip and unzip it to your desktop.

Right click the DelDomains.inf file inside and click Install, making sure Internet Explorer is closed. You won't see anything happen. Give it a minute to do it's stuff,

please download and run HOSTER.ZIP

unpack the hoster.zip
Press 'Restore Original Hosts' and press 'OK'
Exit Program.

do NOT reboot your computer until you have run these scans.

run two online virus scans from any of the following locations :-

http://www.kaspersky...oduct=161744315 KASPERSKY
http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/ - RAV
http://www.bitdefend...can/licence.php - BitDefender

of course it's going to get worse, you have no anti virus protection and no firewall, that was why i asked you to install AVG and SYGATE.

can you now install AVG and SYGATE. ASAP

This entry :-

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [load32] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\winldra.exe

Is a very dangerous keylogger, see HERE

i strongly suggest you follow their advice, and install a firewall ASAP, and block everything from access to the net.
you will also have to change ALL passwords from an uninfected computer.

then reboot and post a fresh Hijackthis log.

run the HOSTER.ZIP first.

you are being redirected to the wrong site by the sounds of it.

it has gone beyond just fixing things with HJT now.

did you run the online scans. ?

run them after installing hoster.

ive downloaded both the progs ...AVG scans no virus, Firewall is up and running

However, some of the files u asked me to check and delete can't be found. But everythings normal, now i think.

The online KASPERSKY scan says i got some viruses. I saved the log already.

just leave silent runners for the time being.

if you can keep me uptodate with how the computer is running,IE what's working and what problems you are still having it would be a great help in trying to sort it out.
