I would like to know if I may have a problem with my updates. I checked my logs and I haven't gotten an update for my pc or my brother's pc since 1/20/04.

Is that odd? Shouldn't I have gotten updates since then?

Microsoft has changed there update strategy, and are only relaesing updates once a month (unless a critical flaw is found). So you're not likely to see your machine updating as often. However, there was a Security Update on Feb 10th that should have been installed on your machine. Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-007

You can manually go to http://v4.windowsupd.../en/default.asp, click on scan for updates, and see if it finds any updates, or completes without errors.
