Alright this question is not for me but a friend of mine. He has xp home and a pretty basic computer about 6 months old. For some reason his cd drives have stopped working. They will not read any disks of any kind and his burner says that no burning drives are detected. It's not as if they didn't work before so it can't be an installation error. His icons are still there but they will not work. I'd appreciate any input on this problem :tazz:
