Mouse/Keyboard is not working at all. The cursor is in the same place as it is. I tried to load winxp again but since I cannot logi-in, i am having hard time to install any driver or re-loading win XP. I am guessing USB driver failure. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanking you in advance

well..that's what i'm hoping you can do..is use a ps/2 mouse isntead of usb...because if it is indeed the usb drivers then a usb mouse isn't going to work

I tried to check the set-up during boot(pressing F2) which shows that USB drivers are ON. Then I tried to fix Win XP. As soon as I enter the CD and all the OS files gets loaded the keyboard works, but when all the files are loaded and I get a prompt (i) you want a setup ii) you want to repair, e.t.c) the keyboard stops working. As a result I cannot go further.

a ps/2 keyoboard is the old style...with the weird looking port...it's usually purplae for the keyboard and green for the mouse....if in fact the usb drivers are getting dropped once windows loads up then the only way to test this is with a normal non-usb keyboard
