I have problems:

The clock of the computer changes sometimes.

The modem sometines start to go crazy, like dialing many times rapidly.

When I reboot all the inside of the forlders change order everytime.

I can't use the volume using the FN key from my laptop.

The tasklist.exe appears then disappears.

I get an error key userfaultcheck dumpret sometimes.

The pointer indicates sometimes that a program is loading but I don't see anything.

Hi Smithxx99. Welcome to GTG. <_<

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide. Also see this post.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

Hi!

I have this problems:

Sometimes the modem starts dialing many numbers fast in aol. I have to reboot to gain control.

When I reboot the folders change inside the original order.

Sometimes The explorer windows also change.

Sometimes When I get rid of the svhost worm, i think is called the p something worm, something triggers something and again the svhost is installed. Weird.

My FN key for volume dosn't work.

I see the pointer loading something really quick

Here is the hijaced log....Thanks

Smith:

I know this sometimes gets confusing about how to post topics, but there are instructions laid out at the top of the home page. I just spent the last 15 minutes merging topics you had in four different areas of the board.

Please post all your problems regarding Hijack This in one thread. You did good by posting a separate question on your cd/rw in a different forum, but it should have stayed in one forum: not two.

Your chances of getting answers by placing questions in different forums regarding the same issue takes time away from the helpers who have to sort through and organize everything. The last 15-20 minutes spent merging topics and tracking them down could have been used to find a solution to another person's log.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.
