somthings wrong with my fonts

well after my sister went of the computer all the fonts everywhere has gone bold i went to the display settings and its not set on bold so any help would be nice

If your running themes just right click desktop/properties/themes/WinXP Style...This should set fonts back to normal.

Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Accessibility -> Accessibility Wizard.
Click Next>, once. Click on Use Usual text Size for Windows.
And just go throught the rest of the wizard.

The above link will take you to the MS power toys page...From there you can download TweakUI....With that proggies you can change a lot of settings to your personal preference...Also you can repair your fonts folder.....Maybe this will fix your font problem...Don't know but this is a nice utility nonetheless.

ok the text went back to normal after i restarted but now the close, minimize and The restore down buttons on the top right corner are small and nothing is wrong with my screen resolutions

right click desktop/properties/appearance/advanced/...Under item in the drop down box choose caption buttons...set the size you want and apply

mines on 25 but i have a theme proggie that allows different themes than xp defaults so the buttons are not standard buttons...just do a trial and error...you don't like what you choose then go back and edit again until satisfied.
