hi, i need help with my computer , well the problem is that when i clik "save as..." on a flashing animated picture on somebodys site it only lets me save it as bmp this resulting in when i want it on my website it dosent flash or nothing and is just a still picture on my screen, i need someone to tell me how i can change it from bmp files to gif files, so that when i put it on my website it will be able to flash n move. sum1 please help thx

thx for the quik reply kieth , but i think there was sum misunderstanding or the problem is not fixed because , ive did what you told me to do and it does change them to gif but the animations still stand still , and when i "save as.." a picture off a website it still onli lets me save it as bmp, and not any other files, any suggestions?

I thought so but I tried it first...I just right clicked an animated gif and saved the file as a gif not a bmp and it animates fine....You can choose pic format..

Open an image with irfanview, click file, save as then save as GIF

Do this with all the images you want to make the animation with

Open Unfreez, open the folder with the GIF images, set them so that you have these side by side

Left click and hold the button down on an image, drag it to the unfreez window, let the button go, add the other images then click make animation

Open this file with irfanview

If you only have one image, open it with irfanview, click image then resize, change the size very slightly, click file, save as, save as GIF with a new file name, make a few of these, change the size for each.

Put these in to unfreez and make an animation

ok but, when i right clik a moving emotion graphic thing and save as... it still onli lets me save it as bmp........... soz 2 b arwkward

ok i know how to do it

save the image on a floppy disk.And on what ever the actual website directory file mention the location of image i guess u know how to mention it same as u mention all the commands to make a website well actually it should work see if it works and let me know it is working or not i will once again go through of my created website and let u know.

naa still aint worked, i can change it to gif wiv the programmes tha i got but the picture still stands still, and when i right clik a monving animation thing again it still onli cums up as bitmap
