rite its a simple question really, but need to be dealed with by the experts (you guys)!!!

i recently picked up a spyware something along the lines of the ps gaurd [bleep] that wont let you change you background, and possibly some other stuff. its not doing any great damage but i have tried going through the steps but along the lines i just cant go any further for reasons that the programs sometimes lose me completly . ANYWAY! less of that, i have nothing of great importance of my computer anyway, im wondering that if i completly reset my computer to the state it was when i got it, will the problems have dissapeard ??? if so how do i go about this, if you can garantee it will!

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
