[COLOR=red] :tazz: I ran Spybot S&D and am now getting a Runner Error. First, I do not know what a Runner Error is. Second, it is aggravating because it is popping up every 20 seconds.

It states that Runner file name (fspex.exe) lacks '-'(the app id separator).

I found another thread where someone else was having this issue, but you guys told him to look for something to do with Compaq. I own a Dell (if that makes a difference). I also have XP.

You told him to run a HJT log. I registered to be a member, but do not understand how to run a log. Please assist a frustrated user.

Thanks!

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
