Ok now you have a network card installed lets see if it works.
go to the tcpip in network neighbourhood and put in the settings I gave you
Does this work?

I installed the network card and now I have this error. It says I'm missing a file SYSTEM.ini.

The network card is most likley causing the error roblem with the system.ini
are you getting any network error messages.
related to the dynamic link library?

After you turn on the computer, right before it loads to the desktop a window pops up. It says:
Windows Networking
Unable to load the dynamic link library:
msnp32.dll
The system cannot find the file specified.
Some or all of the following feature is not available:
Microsoft Network.
Then you click on ok.

ok go to start>accessories ms dos prompt
type in ver (press enter)
this should give you the version of windows you are using
please copy all this down and post
