No..there was only a folder in C:\WINDOWS titles cfgmgr52 with about 74 files in it with .bsx on the ends of their filenames. I did a windows search for this too and didn't come up with anything but this folder.

I'm still getting pop-ups from Internet Explorer and also my cpu usage keeps jumping up really high quite often...between 60-100%. I also have icons on my desktop now that are kinda see-through. ONe it titled: ZbThumbnail.info and the other one says : desktop and reads"[LocalizedFileNames]
Windows Media Player.lnk=@C:\WINDOWS\inf\unregmp2.exe,-4" when you open it.

• Read the agreement, the click continue with Next Step
• Wait for the scanner to load, if you get a security warning about the Trend-Micro applet, click YES
• It will install "Core-Packages", then please run the scan - let me know how many infected items it found and if any of them couldn't be cleaned and the name/location

Ok..I deleted the files you told me to.

I tried to run the Trend Micro again, but when I click on the "continue next step" I just get a grey box that has the java logo..then it goes to a red x and doesn't do anything.

Install the latest Java here:

If you have any older version installed can you uninstall them just before installing this one. Once installed, reboot and give the TrendMicro scan a new shot.

Went to trend micro again and now I got 2 red x's on the:

1) Please download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

2) Then please reboot into Safe Mode by restarting your computer and pressing F8 as your computer is booting up. Then select the Safe Mode option.

3) Once in Safe Mode, please run Killbox.

4) Select "Delete on Reboot".

5) Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

C:\WINDOWS\azsskrt.exe

6) Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

7) Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again..

Let the system reboot.

Then run BitDefender, let me know of the results.
