i've reccently reinstalled windows 98 on my now offline computer and the only display options the computer will offer me are 16 colours or 2 colours and a small screen size is there any way i can fix this without using the internet to download drivers thanks very much

If you have a CD for the motherboard and you have onboard graphics then you will find the drivers for them on there

You could use an online PC to download the drivers, save to disc and load them from that
