I'm running Windows XP on an HP laptop. Starting about two weeks ago, my USB mouse (Logitech MX510) will randomly shut down (it seems especially frequent when I'm playing Counter-Strike) and I will have to re-plug it for it to work. I looked at STEAM's website for a fix and they addressed the problem, saying that it could be fixed by not allowing windows to shut down my USB Root Hub's to save power. I unchecked that options in Device Manager, but it's still happening. Anyone have suggestions?
