hard drive help!

When my dad got my computer it wasnt mine, and it had a 120 gig hard drive. But now it shows a total size of 31.4 gb, something is definatley wrong, any ideas on how to fix this myself? So i dont have to call tech support out here.

Tell us what you've done with it. Have you reformatted it or reinstalled the operating system? And what brand of hard drive is it?

What ive done? Go on internet, and play games, pretty much all i do on this computer.. i just checked it out, i have 80 gigs of unallocated space.

edit: i just created a primary partition for the 80 gigs as J: its currently formatting :tazz:, is this what you were going to tell me to do?
