while playing sims2 it goes to desktop 4 no reason

not sure if this is the right place to put this but anyway.

i'll be playing sims2 just fine it'll be playin smothly (sine i installed this intele extreame graghics thing) but after a less than a 1min it takes me to the desktop which basically screws up the game.
i even unploged my internet and it did the same thing.

any ideas?

ok i was just watching a file full screen and it took me out of that veiw and into a smaller one.
i looked at the processes going and everytime theres IE running.
any ideas on this one?

popup? thats hidden follow the steps in the malware section to get rid of 70% of your problems, dont know if it will stop that cerain one but its worth a try :tazz:

i tryed to use asawar i get this little pop up

heres a few things/places to help you out:

Sounds like you have the Blaster worm. Microsoft provides some background information and removal instructions: http://support.micro...om/?kbid=826955.
You also need to configure a host firewall and antivirus software

A vulnerability on your system is being exploited by a worm. You need to update your system:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/.
Then configure a firewall: http://www.microsoft...k/firewall.mspx.
Also, see this column on firewalls: http://www.microsoft.../02august12.asp.

Lastly, you will need to install some anti-virus software.
