Moving From USB to Ethernet

You could disable the USB one in case you need it

oh so if i disable it i can have the ethernet aswell

Double check when you install it, but the ethernet will be a separate connection

Well i disabled the USB CABLE MODEM and then i put the disc in so i can have Ethernet and it wont let me it just closes does it need to be uninstalled ?

If you have the set up software for the USB Modem, as well as your access details, then unplug the modem, remove the connection, check add / remove for any Modem software and remove it.
Run disc clean up, reboot then install the ethernet
